The breakfast is good and the location is excellent. Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like il pastaio di eataly that was only 5 minutes' walk away. We appreciated our stay.

We liked the good location, the free Wifi, the calm street, the nice rooms and the good staff.
As Europeans, we didn't like the throw-away tableware at breakfast. Too much waste for a breakfast in the morning. Think more ecological.

THe simplicity of the hotel and lobby allowed us to focus on our visit. THe luxury linens and and buffet breakfast were excellent. A very comfortable clean room. THe location is perfect and convenient to many scenarios in visiting NY
I think the hotel was fine. the car wash a half a block away should do a better job with the runoff water/garbage to increase your curb appeal.

very nice location,situated right in the middle of everything, with easy walks to many sights and easy acces to subway less than 100 meters away. hotel is nice and clean. had 10 th floor room facing backyard with some view and no street noise at all. breakfast is fine...coffee is better than at the Plaza..helpfull staff..would stay again..

the vessels in the the restaurant could be in crockery and metal instead of being in cardboard and Styrofoam

I liked the healthy breakfast. Also, the room was very quiet and clean.
The queen sized bed was a little too small and the staff didn't quiet clarify why they didn't give us either a king or 2 doubles.

Breakfast though was disappointingly American. I would have loved to drink fresh orange juice instead of the oversugared pop that was on offer for instance.
